RISE- Embodied Empowerment 21st & 22nd Nov, Murgheboluc Hall
It all started with a broken dream and a weird inkling to get a hula hoop for fun and play...I NEVER imagined it would lead to life of creativity, vitality, adventure and connection for over 20 years. *see my education and experience here.
Do you have a sense that perhaps you could move further in life if you could just settle your mind...focus....remove the stories that stop you from starting to work on that new idea, that healthier body, that more enriching relationship? Perhaps you notice you could do with more vitality to keep you going toward your dreams?
At That Happy Place, we KNOW you can step into your potential, and we're PASSIONATE about supporting that journey in an embodied way with exercises adjusted to each persons needs. Research (Cuddy, 2016) shows, that when we embody a stance of confidence, things do run more smoothly for us and people respond better to us. We support people through this Somatic journey, housed in research based practices, through an overnight "Camptreat" experience, nourished by healthy food and beautiful connections with others on the journey. You don't need experience, come as you are x (options for Full overnight "Camptreat", "Daytreat" or Bell Tent experience in sections below)
First...
We connect in together over chai and begin in intention setting and meditation. We tone our Vagal Nerve to settle our Nervous System. We allow space to check in with our Somatic System and recognise where we are, and where we would like to be.

Next....
We acknowledge and make loving and compassionate space for our blocks, our fears and our challenges and move through meditational movement practices that support the gentle shifting of the blockage, making way for a sense of flow and vitality within challenge.
Then....
We create a celebration of you together, building a group mandala, eating nourishing food together, getting dressed up in our favourite colours, glitzed up by the Glitter Babe, and we DANCE our new dance, our new way of being in the world. We EMBRACE our vitality, our fullness, our potential and our dreams. If you're staying the night, after chai, you will be soothed into a sleepy state with a meditation.
As the sun rises on a new day....
We awaken to slowly begin to move with the rising sun using Somatic Exercises and movement meditation to cement this relationship you have with this new version of yourself.
Grounding in our new mind body connection....
Celebrate and connect over smoothies and your choice of chai or coffee, before packing up camp and embodying this new richness in your daily life.
Choices for your convenience and budget...
Stay for the day from 2-9pm, sleepover with your own camping gear or even bring your mattress and bedding and have a sleepover in the hall, or amp up your Camptreat experience by booking our Bell Tent (sold out) or Retro Caravan, for an all inclusive, lush experience of pampering.
